It’s holy week here in Colombia (our version of spring break), and my parents came over from Bogotá to pay me a visit. It’s been great to have them over and spend some time with them.  During the last couple of days we went to Tayrona National Park near Santa Marta and I was able to take a few pictures of some of my favorite bodyweight exercises.  I found this awesome rock near the beach where the waves would crash, which created and awesome setting for my pics.  Hope you enjoy them:

 

Favorite Bodyweight Exercise # 1 Frog Stance

This is one of my favorite static exercises cause it works out everything.  Your practically balancing your whole body on your hands which puts a lot of stress on your shoulders and biceps.

Favorite Bodyweight Exercise # 2 L Sit

This exercise I learned from my days back when I was a gymnast a long, long time ago.  The L sit is a great exercise to work your abs, arms, and even legs.  If you are a beginner you can start with your knees bent, and try to stretch them little by little.  Remember to keep your shoulders away from your ears in order to avoid recruiting the soft tissue and provoking injury.

Favorite Bodyweight Exercise # 3  Three Legged TableBodyweight Revolution
